Mastering Fish Eat Fish: Controls, Mechanics & Survival Guide

Fish Eat Fish delivers an intuitive underwater survival experience where split-second movement and tactical feeding determine who rules the ocean depth. Here is everything you need to know to hit the arena floor running.

Command and Movement Setup

Navigating your marine predator requires minimal setup, allowing you to focus entirely on positioning and spatial awareness:

Basic Navigation: Drag your cursor across the screen to guide your creature’s swimming trajectory instantly.
Burst Acceleration: Hold down the primary mouse button (Left Click) to activate a sudden speed boost, ideal for closing down prey or escaping incoming threats.

Core Gameplay Progression

Foraging & Marine Consumption

Your primary goal is continuous growth. Scavenge small ocean organisms floating throughout the map or hunt down opposing players to claim their biomass as nutrition.

Evolution and Size Scaling

Every item consumed directly accelerates your creature’s growth curve. As your size expands, your character gains heightened dominance, larger attack hitboxes, and superior physical presence.

Aquatic Combat and Domination

The ocean floor is a ruthless battleground. Larger marine life can instantly swallow smaller organisms. Engaging opposing players is necessary to clear out competition and secure high-value feeding territory.

Crucial Survival Notes

Boundary Safety: The outer borders of the aquatic arena carry no environmental damage. You can leverage the perimeter walls to corner targets or block pursuing predators without penalty.
Identity and Customization: Personalize your profile tag and select your preferred creature cosmetic before launching into battle to stand out during hectic skirmishes.
Real time Rankings: Track your relative performance against active competitors via the live top-10 leaderboard visible throughout the match.
