The gameplay and controls in this third adventure are identical to those in the other games in the series. Control Fireboy using the arrow keys. He is vulnerable to aquatic barriers due to his temperament. He will be extinguished if he comes into touch with pools of water, therefore stay away from those types of traps when piloting Fireboy. He can easily pass through the lava ponds. Watergirl may be controlled using the WASD keys, and she follows the same reasoning as the other characters. The main difference is that she is impervious to water pools and can easily travel through them. The lava lakes, on the other hand, are lethal for her because she is a water elemental. When she comes into touch with the lava, she will vaporize. You can leap over these pools to go around them, but be careful not to undershoot your jumps.
